What is the ‘Canadians Living Pay Cheque to Pay Cheque’ Survey?


The Association’s NPW Employee Research Survey examines trends in savings, spending, debt and retirement planning. The survey has become a key economic indicator of the financial health of working Canadians, and critical source of information in the financial literacy debate.

How is the Survey Conducted?


This research surveys employees from across Canada, and from a wide range of industry sectors. The survey is in market from Friday, June 22 nd, 2018 until Wednesday, August 1 st, 2018. The survey was developed by the Canadian Payroll Association and is being conducted by Framework Partners. Results of the Survey will be available Wednesday, September 5 th, 2018.
